A classically trained pianist and accordionist, Michel is a graduate of the I.M.E.P. with the greatest distinctions. He multiplies artistic projects pushing him to discover and to invigorating encounters, whether on stage with actors, dancers or in recital. On the accordion, he draws his artistic inspiration from world music, jazz, classical, tango and French song. Michel has a doctorate in art and art sciences (UCLouvain) and teaches at the Royal Higher Institute of Music and Pedagogy in Namur.
In 2007, he became the accordionist of the Royal Opera of Wallonia in the Mephistofele production of Boïto, under the direction of Patrick Davin.
From 2007, he plays with the ensemble I Solisti Del Vento. From 2007 to 2012, with this ensemble he participated in two productions De vliegende Hollander and De Markies van Carabas during tours through Flanders, the Netherlands and Berlin.
In July 2015, he was programmed at the Wallonia Festival in La Petite Messe Solennelle by Rossini, a production of the Juillet Musical de Saint Hubert.
In 2016, he founded the ensemble Recrues d'Essence which performed for the first time on July 2017 for the closing concert of the 60th July Musical of Saint Hubert (FW). The ensemble is once again scheduled for the Festival de Wallonie 2018 and 2023 (Juillet Musical de Saint Hubert and Festival du Brabant Wallon).
He is a member of the Candide Symphonic Orchestra, under the direction of Patrick Leterme and he participates in the productions of Fiedler on the roof, Momo (Festival de Wallonie 2017) and Les Parapluies de Cherbourg.
In 2019, he played at the Palais des Beaux Arts in Brussels with the National Orchestra of Belgium for the Cantania project.
From 2020 to 2022, he collaborates with the Children's Choir of the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie.
In 2023, he plays as solist with the Musique Royale des Guides at the Namur Concert Hall.
With the Trio Dor, he performs in festivals in the United Kingdom (2023) and in Portugal (2025).
